I’m excited to be sharing for the first time my Mixed Media Notebook with you all! Just recently I was asked about what I do with all my scrapbooking supplies and how I find ways to use them all. Now, I must admit, I’m originally a scrapbook hoarder (haha!).
For the first few years I got into scrapbooking I was mostly a collector. I was always infatuated with scrapbooking but I was always afraid to get my hands dirty with my supplies.
Nowadays, things are very different around here. I enjoy getting my hands dirty with paper, glue and scissors. One of the many ways I do that is by exploring the endless possibilities and creativity in my Mixed Media Notebook.
I find that when I’m in a creative rut the best way to get out of that rut is to just create! This notebook gives me that perfect place to let out my crafty frustrations by just letting loose without having to worry what it looks like.
NO PRESSURE. Those are the key words.
If you notice, I have not added photographs with people in it. Instead, I have decided to use quotes as an extra form of inspiration. I consider this part of my “therapy” and “inspiration” approach to my Mixed Media Notebook.
I hope to keep growing and finding new ways of stepping outside the circle in this notebook of mine. So stay tuned for every 2nd Monday of the month for a new Mixed Media Monday post here on All the Neffyness!
Do you guys have a Mixed Media Notebook? What do you guys do to get out of those creative ruts? I would love to hear from you! Comment down below.
