It’s that time of the year again!!
Yep, it’s time to start the annual 100 Day Project! Some of you might remember my post from last year and the project I failed miserably at, hahaha. I never really scrapped for 100 days straight. But this year I feel like I am starting this project more prepared than ever.
I am doing 100 Days of All About Me along with Rukristkin from The Awesome Ladies Project!
What does this project consist of?
Well, as the title suggests it, it’s gonna be 100 days about just MY. SELF. It sounds a little vain, but let me give you a couple of good reasons why I think this project will be amazing!
First of all, let me clear up that I will not spend 100 days just thinking of only myself (not at all). In fact, I’m starting by thinking of my family first.
Well, because Rukristin’s project is based on 100 questions that make you dig deeper into yourself. I want to answer these questions as if I was answering them for my children to read 50 years from now.
Each day will have a new question that I will answer in this book. But I will not give just one sentence answers! I want to challenge myself to really dig deep and give myself the opportunity to be open to myself and give my heart to each question as I answer it.
Second, I feel like this will give me an amazing opportunity to let go of some things, and also grow through it all.
I want to embrace that!
I want to begin to embrace my 27 year old self. Every single aspect of me, even those I don’t like.
So, if you can’t tell, I am feeling totally empowered as I step into this great project.
I can thank Rukristin for this and her amazing community of powerful feminists who love to embrace themselves in all aspects of their lives.
And, in case you were wondering what kind of format this book will take, I have been sharing pics throughout this post.
I have had this “smashbook” type album by Recollections in my stash for years now. I feel like this 6×8 book has the perfect foundation pages already in it. Its filled with journaling pages with pretty, bright, and colorful papers. I don’t even have to fuss around my stash to set up anything, so score!
I am also keeping some basic alpha stamps. These ones are from Amy Tangerine and I love the font and size to write out my questions every day.
I also found an unused set of acrylic stamps by Theresa Collins in my stash that had cute sentiments like “this is me” and “love this” and of course, florals and butterflies!
So today is day 1/100 and I have been sharing my set-up and plans with you. I hope you you will come back through these next few months as I plan to share in weekly format what my #100daysofallaboutme Mini Album is looking like! I want to take the seriously so bad, haha.
Finally, for those of you that are participating, I wish you all good luck on each of your projects. I have found so much inspiration through each of the ladies participating on Instagram, and I love reading each one of your own projects!
Thanks for stopping by, and we’ll stay scrappy because we’re just getting started! 😉
