Welcome back to this month’s In the Scrap April Challenge post!!
I am excited to share this month’s new challenge: flowers! Perfect for Springtime!
APRIL CHALLENGE: FLOWERS
This challenge has to be another favorite! I love including florals in my projects all the time, so this just came as second nature to me.
So here is my take on the challenge:
This is just a fun and minimalistic layout with a fun punch of flowers, haha.
I used a very broad range of supplies including: Crate Paper Good Vibes, Photoplay Bohemian Rapshody, and Pink Paislee Turn The Page.
I also decided to use a photo of some itty bitty flowers I found around my neighborhood. I was originally inspired by the photo and the Bohemian Rapshody to create some sort of light and airy layout.
That was when I decided to get a little creative and use the black and white patterned washi from the Good Vibes collection to create the circle punches banner that you see here:
This basically helped me anchor my photo. To which I went ahead and added some layered flowers around the top right corner and some cactus and butterflies at the bottom.
The butterflies were placed as if they were in motion to the pretty flowers!
I used some stickers from the Bohemian collection to add a title, Blame It On My Gipsy Heart, and another beside my photo.
I love how this flower layout turned boho!
That’s pretty much all I did to create this layout. One thing I didn’t mention was that I added a bit of silver mist to my white base to add a little interest and dimension.
So, I hope you have enjoyed this month’s challenge for the In The Scrap blog. If you are interested you can find a second layout taking on the challenge on the In the Scrap Blog here.
