GOOD MORNING, and happy Saturday to all!

Today is National Scrapbooking Day and it’s like Christmas Day for all fellow scrappers, planners, and paper crafting gals like you and me.

I am so excited to be participating on the inside this year as I am hosting a Mini Album Challenge on the Gossamer Blue Facebook Group.

In just one short hour, at 1 PM EDT my challenge will be up on the Group. I hope you’re inspired to take on this challenge of creating a fun, easy, and quick mini album!

We are full of fun, challenges, and prizes all day today on the Gossamer Blue FB Group and you have until the end of the weekend to enter in our challenges!

I hope you stop back here, as I will have all the details for my Challenge at 1 o’clock in a full blog post. Also, if the YouTube Gods work in my favor, I can have the full Process Video up on my YouTube Channel on time!

D+N Valentine’s Day Mini

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all having a warm a snuggly Friday. Here in California we are expecting a huge rainstorm this weekend so I’m excited to grab myself a warm cup of coffee and sit at my desk all weekend long!

Today I am here to share with you a fun Valentine’s Day Mini Album I made for my husband. I really wanted to come here and share this on V-Day but since my son’s birthday is on V-Day (so cute right?!) you can imagine just how busy I was and my main focus was on celebrating a birthday more than Valentine’s Day, haha.

So let me start of by saying that I almost didn’t share this project at all. At the beginning of this month my husband and I hit a very rough bump in our marriage and split for a few weeks. It was a very difficult time and I was devastated and terrified that I had lost the love of my life for ever. Through talking and sacrifices on both our ends we have decided that we are not going to give up on our marriage just yet.

So that’s just a quick way of telling you why I hadn’t shared this project. Nevertheless, I’m super excited to be sharing it with you today because I stared it as soon as I received my February Gossamer Blue kits and I was working on it from the bottom of my heart, for my love.

I used the Main Kit for this whole project and I loved using the fun patterns and bold colors from the Fancy Pants collection.

I also decided that I was going to do stitching galore since I had also just gotten my sewing machine. I have been in love with that thing! Didn’t I tell you I was gonna use it every time? Haha!

On the inside I used very little embellishments but used the word phrase stickers included in the kit to add the message I wanted to come across each page. On top of each page I also included some of my favorite and most romantic photos I could find of him and I.

So here are the closeups for you to enjoy. I figured leaving them all ’til the end would be best to let you enjoy it all at once. I hope you love it!

I finished off my mini with a handmade yellow Tassel using some bakers twine from my stash and also added a super cute “S.W.A.K.” ephemera piece to the back of the mini. The perfect touch to finish it off!

I am so happy that I was able to finish the mini and also to share with you all! It was one of the projects I was most excited to be making with my February Gossamer Blue kits so off the to my mini’s collection basket it goes!

December Daily 2016 || “25 Days of Christmas” Mini Album

Hey there crafty friends! Happy Saturday and happy New Year’s Eve! I can’t believe how fast this month has passed us. Seriously, Christmas is gone already and I don’t think I’m ready for December to go either. Especially because I have catching up to do in my December Daily for this year. Which I’m super excited to introduce to you!

This year I decided to try out a 4×6 mini album as my December Daily with the title of “25 Days of Christmas”. I was wanting something small so that I could keep up with it (although I didn’t, obviously lol) and also because I had an idea in my head of having a super cute and chunky mini album full of Christmas cuteness!

This past November I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Ontario, California with a scrappy friend of mine and I went in with a mission to get only items for my December Daily. I came out with an eclectic arrangement of goodies including October Afternoon, Simple Stories, Prima and few other awesome items.

To be honest though, I had truly been wanting the Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa collection but it just wasn’t financially readily for me so I decided to take it into my own hands and create something of the sort.

I decided to pick the soft pinks, whites, blacks, mints and blues from the Snow and Cocoa collection. But I also keep the traditional red and greens for Christmas!

That is how this pretty little album came to life. So I’m going to share some of the inside for you guys to enjoy.

There really isn’t any rules for it. I have just been taking photos Daily and seeing the magic of Christmas in the every day moments around me. I also plan to add journaling with vellum sheets over many of the photos but I figured that I can wait until the end so that I don’t have to take so many trips to print store because I don’t have a working printer at home.

For now, though, I’m going to share the Intro and Days 1-3 and I will be back with more as I progress through my album.

I decided to include as part of the intro pages a cute cut-apart Calendar from the Simple Stories Claus & Co. collection!

The back was filled with a letter to Santa from me, too. I loved incorporating this in one of the pockets.

Even my son got to write Santa a letter! We tried tracing and it was harder than I expected, but I love it. It’s so cute and memorable!

I also incorporated some shaker pockets! All I did to add this to my 4×6 album was to cut the 6×8 pockets in half without cutting the bottoms of the top half so that I may use the whole sheet. Then I just cut off the side where the hole punches go and Ta Da!  It fits perfectly!

These are the tags in the white pocket. I simply trimmed off my 4×6 photos so that they may fit in the pocket. I cut off the top corners to make them look like tags, and finally, I added to each one some fun and decorative trims. So cute!

It was a slow start in my mini with the start of my new job (yay!) at the beginning of the month, but I’ve got my photos printed and I’m enjoying working on it as much as I can.

I’ll be back with more very soon!!!

Thanks for coming by! I hope you enjoyed! Have a question or comment? Leave it down below. I’d love to chat!

HELLO everyone!! I am back inside my October Daily today and I am sharing with you all the process of picking out supplies, choosing and album, creating a cover, setting up the inside, and finally, my Day 1 and Day 2 entries.

This project has been so much fun and even though I am not all fully caught up I have been having a blast getting messy with my spooky crafty items!

I have TWO new videos on my YouTube Channel to which I would like to invite all of you to check out.

The first video is all about the supplies I chose and I also pick out my album and finally, set up the foundation pages. I believe I mentioned this in my previous post, however, today I am inviting you all to come watch the video!

The second video is all about me working on the mini album cover and Day 1 and Day 2 prompts. I also add and introduction section to my album which includes a fun Title page and a calendar section. I also invite you to check this one out!

Like I mentioned before, I am following along to Andrea Bethke’s 13 and 31 An October Documented class. It has been such a fun class with so many ideas to make my October Daily mini album just overflow with so much fun interactive items!

Hello lovely readers!

Can you believe that we have already come to pretty much the end season for the year! This year just flew by so fast, it’s hard to believe that it’s almost over.

However, it’s not quite over yet! We have just started the month of October and all of the year-end celebrations are just getting started! So what comes first??

Halloween of course!

This year I am super duper excited to be doing an October Daily Album! I was very very lucky to win a free giveaway to an October Daily Class by Andrea Bethke. It’s her 13 & 31: An October Documented class.

She has created such great content and our group of ladies in the class are so inspired for this new October documenting class! So if that sounds like fun for you, go check her out because it’s still not to late to join the fun.

So, since I won such an amazing class I am here to share with you all the process as she guides us through the fun of documenting our October. Or should I say, SPOOOOOKY October! Haha!

So let’s get into the fun stuff!

For supplies I made sure to check if I had any goodies in my stash and found quite a few arrangement of papers, alphas, and word phrase stickers.  Also, I chose my mini album binder from another mini that got abandoned a few months back (sadly…).

The other supplies you see are an arrangement of things I found at Michaels and Target dollar spot. I say that I’ve got a Dark Glam theme, since there’s lots of black and gold.

The first thing I did once I decided on what album to use was to start decorating the cover. I love the end results! What do you think?

I’m trying my best to give a simple clean look to the album. I strive for minimalistic but sometimes I get really excited and over embellish, haha, so I will try to just simply create a “clean” look.

I am super happy with the cover!! I love the subtle yet loud details. Like I said, most of these items are from Michaels and Target.

I am currently working on a video on my YouTube Channel All the Neffyness Crafty Channel where I share the process of choosing, and creating a cover for my mini plus also some organization ideas and a share of all the supplies I will use.

As soon as I have the video done I will upload it and come update this page with the link so stay tuned!
